My brain is a storm of color formulas, cutting angles, and a deep-seated need to create something perfect. I don’t just see hair; I see a structural puzzle waiting to be solved. I’m obsessed with the why—the molecular bond-building, the underlying pigments, and the physics of a perfect cut. My "Alchemy" is the intersection of color chemistry and technical geometry. I take my work personally; I’m not satisfied until your hair is perfect and your confidence is through the roof.
I specialize in corrective and high-level dimensional color for those who are done settling for “almost right.” Whether you’re growing out damage, fixing uneven work, transitioning to vivid color, or investing in extensions that actually protect your hair — I build strategic plans that prioritize integrity and long-term results.
For years, I navigated a service industry that demands you leave your personal struggles at the door. But when you’re living with chronic illnesses like Endometriosis, hEDS, and POTS, "leaving it at the door" isn’t an option. In 2020, I walked away from the traditional salon world to build Alchemy.
I needed a sanctuary where I could be my weird, wonderful, unfiltered self—and I wanted that same freedom for my clients. Owning this salon isn't just about being my own boss; it’s about creating an environment where I can thrive, not just survive. Here, I set the pace so I can continue to do what I love without fighting a system that wasn’t built for me.
Here’s the deal: I am a perfectionist to a fault. I refuse to "churn and burn" or half-ass your hair just to fill a time slot. You pay for magic, and I refuse to deliver anything less.
Occasionally, my body decides to go on strike. If I’m having a flare-up where I can’t give you 100% of my technical skill, I won’t fake it. If I have to reschedule you, it’s because your hair deserves the "A-game" Alchemist, not the "barely-holding-it-together" version. If I have to move your appointment, know that I’m likely more frustrated than you are—but I’m doing it because I respect your time, your money, and your hair’s health too much to give you "good enough."
Alchemy is the art of transformation.
My life with chronic illness has taught me that hair is a vital part of our identity.
While I serve a full range of salon clients, a core part of my mission is my work as a Certified Service Provider and Donation Specialist for Wigs for Kids.
I facilitate the entire cycle of restoration:
Whether you are coming in for a transformation of your own or donating to help a child find theirs, we are here to turn the "lead" of life’s struggles into something precious.
Stay Bold. Stay Gold.
